of the moon Io lower left. Below right is Zeus and Thetis by Jean Ingres, 1811. The Nereid and sea nymph Thetis is begging Zeus to save
her son Achilles in the Trojan War. Thetis had actually saved Zeus when Hera, Poseidon and Athene had plotted to throw him into chains.
